Transparent pieces of natural color blue apatite mined in Madagascar were roughly-ground and hand-polished into tire shaped beads, and then drilled and strung in a 18" (45cm) length with a sterling silver clasp. Large Apatite Faceted Bead Necklace

Faceted from natural apatite crystals mined in Madagascar
This natural apatite faceted bead necklace was made from natural color apatite pieces that were mined in Madagascar with rich blue natural color - these rare size faceted apatite beads are unheated and untreated. Each of these genuine apatite beads is lightly included to eye clean! They were hand-ground & faceted, and then drilled, strung and fit with a sterling silver clasp. Item apaj105ae is 17.5 inches long with 67 carats of natural apatite beads that measure 4mm in diameter.

This specimen of raw brown jasper has natural color blue apatite crystals embedded within it and exposed on its surfaces. Some of these apatites show cats eye chatoyancy. There are several vugs around the surfaces of this specimen, some show botryoidal chalcedony formations inside. This is a very nice mineral specimen just as it is, although it could also be used as lapidary rough. It would yield a large carving with plenty of scraps left over for making very beautiful and unique cabochon gems.

This lapidary grade decorator specimen of brown jasper has natural color blue apatite crystals embedded within it and exposed on its surfaces. The largest of the blue apatites is over 5 inches long. Most of these natural blue apatites show cats eye chatoyancy! There are vugs in the jasper matrix with botryoidal chalcedony formations.
